Part of the vision of City of Refuge Church is to establish a place of safety for people to come and be changed by the power of the Holy Spirit to be like Jesus. Pastor Mark Kaple became pastor of City of Refuge Church, then Haskell Community Church, in December 2017 following the passing of his father, Pastor Robert D. Kaple. He was ordained by Pastor John Minor of Gospel Tabernacle in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, and graduated in 2005 with an Associate’s degree in Theology from Blue Ridge Bible College.
Pastor Abigail Kaple attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and House of the Lord Fellowship before moving to the Haskell Valley in 2018. She was ordained by Pastor John Minor of Gospel Tabernacle in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, and also serves as the church secretary.
Aimee Kaple is the eldest daughter of the late Pastor Robert D. Kaple and Patricia Kaple. She earned degrees from Lock Haven University and St. Bonaventure University and serves City of Refuge Church as an elder.
